None really, I just cant stand the "my car makes 700" and then they take it to my tuner and they make 415.

I do enjoy ppl who state they have 500rwhp and get pulled by my 400rwhp

a properly calibrated dyno jet is actually not forgiving at all. My car was dynoed on Dezs dyno jet and his is an example of one that is calibrated correctly. An 03 cobra with 2.76 pulley, catless x pipe, catback, air intake.. made 416whp on that dyno. Online, you will see a lot of cobras with those parts making 450+. Its mustang dynos i dont like. There are so many ways to skew numbers its ridiculous

The general consensus among people who dislike Dynojets does seem to be that they are "high reading dynos". This never made sense to me. If someone came out with a new dyno that read far lower than what a Mustang Dyno generally reads, would that be better than a MD?

Also, MD's seem way too easy to manipulate by shady shops. I've seen them read higher than DJ's more than once due to this, and even the honest ones seem to be all over the place. I'll take consistency over being able to brag that I ran X time making "less" power.

Why not just have your tuner set it up so that your car only makes "200 rwhp"? Then you could **** with the people who claim they make 500 rwhp in your 200 rwhp car...

Sooo I read up to page 6... A lot of cobra nut huggers... Don't a cobra need atleast 100-110rwhp more to hang with a c6 vette? My past experiences have been this way...

based off this video, it would appear it needs around 70whp more to beat one. And im no cobra nut swinger. C6Z is bar none my favorite car on the planet. But they arent as invincible as LS1Tech makes them out to be. Its a 3100lb car that makes 440whp stock. Pretty simple.

If you look hard enough you'll find proof of whatever you want to believe. Bench racing is fun as hell, but at the end of the day you gotta take each race for what it is.

When I made 470rwhp I ran with 580rwhp whippled cobra from multiple roll speeds and we was damn near even... His car runs average 11.04-11.15's trapping 126-129.. I didn't even had a good set up at that time.. So I could edge a whippled cobra making 110rwhp and this c6z got edged by a eaton making only 70more whp? C6z are lighter and better geared for roll racing than my car..

In my experience if the cobra is a strong runner it only needs about 50 more hp then a vette to run with it. 100hp more is just absurd. That just means the cobra is a turd

Yeah This is a 420whp local H/C (stock ls6 intake and 3.42s) f-body vs a cobra with a KB and full bolt ons. Nitrous vs Nitrous i felt bad for the cobra.

That white cobra is strong as hell.

Imstock2: What bayarea said.

Ive seen lesser HPed cobras outrun higher HPed ones. It takes a whole car to go fast... not just a dyno sheet. No car voids this.

Can't remember if it was 420 or 440 i always forget, whatever. That f-body has trapped 123 on motor, and yanked a 136-138 mph gtr on the 200 hit, from the GTR's roll. Its def a strong runner.

Heres a video of 2 friends cars racing from a long time ago.

The hardtop is has a lot of weight reduction and made 517whp with 18psi of ported eaton

The vert is 3850 before anyone even sat in it and was never on a dyno. They just advertised it as 550whp because it ran hard. But it ran 16 psi through the same eaton port job.

The vert spins on the hit, plays catch up and walks by the hard top. But realistically that car shouldnt have made anymore power then the hard top cobra. it was running 2 less lbs of boost.

I raced a couple friends' ported Cobras and another friend's stock C6 Z and they would have been good races if the Cobras had lined up with the Z. The Z ran consistent 11.5's on the stock tires.

I'm sure there are people who have had experiences that back this up and other's who have had experiences that would make the race seem one sided in this match up.

I honestly wanna go 11.99 on the stock tires. Just to say i did. With just the drivetrain tweaks and no more hp... i think i can pull that off.

Check out my cam only setup.
Deadliest setup ever to hit the streets of the Milkyway Galaxy.

Me vs a cammed/bolt on boss.
I know it looks like an integra.
He had camoflauge mod to make him look sound like a integra.
