Where you at? I would run you motor only

I will say FOR ONCE, I have seen stock 5.0 run higher trap speed than my car when i had the OE ls1 mine only ran 107-8

If the Cobra shifted faster he would have won even more. Good race and vid. I would have thought the Cobra would have got pulled after 100MPH though

I can't get over how people use LS6 intakes with done up OEM or aftermarket heads-just kills you I know from experience.

I thought LS6 intakes flowed pretty well... whats the limit on them?

They do but with a good flowing head and medium cam they are a big time restriction especially at high rpms.

I made 413 with mine but I had ported up the front of it. I picked up 13whp with a fast 90. Same day same dyno....changed it on the dyno actually. I don't know if there is a "limit" but at some point the gain by goin to another intake would be large. What most don't know is the intake necks down and the oe throttle blade won't fit threw it.....another good free mod there

Good to know, I gain about the same 12-13 addding the Fast 90 and then swapped the ls1 heads for 6.0l stock heads (rubbed ) with ls1 valves and gain 20 more to the tire. i sit at 406 on a stingy Mustang, about 1=450-60 on dynocrap..ummm jet

Did you watch and listen to the same video as everyone else?

This. Plain and simple, a C6Z is a strong running car, but not enough in this race. The Cobra in this video has always been impressive for the mods, especially on the spray. Just because it's not a twin screw doesn't mean it's a pig! I'm not brand biased, I've had a little bit of everything, but for the money a Terminator is hard to beat in a straight line.

I forgot, this is LS1tech...

Not possible! Video is too dark, I'll bet it was a stock LS2 C6! That Cobra has more mods than he's telling us!

What's the reason for disliking Dynojets?

You're car runs good especially for how much it weighed in that race. Some of stuff i have seen in this thread is funny. Bayareass' ls1 is probably the only one i have seen run as good as it does and he would probably say the same about my cobra. I just think it's crazy how worked up people get over friendly street races.

I hang in there pretty well with cars that trap 127-128. A properly running ported cobra SHOULD trap 125-127 without much trouble. But for some reason thats not the case. They are normally low 120 cars.

I agree 100%.....hell there is kb and whipple cars here that went slower than my pullied cobra lol. I feel that a majority of cobra owners are lacking the driver mod badly!

Yea they def aren't driven well but it's crazy when a 575hp ts car traps 124ish. That just seems unreal, especially when the driving isn't that bad
