Well damn, I swear I've never heard of this, but it makes sense when I reflect back on a lot of Machs that never could trap very high. I've actually owned 3 Machs, and all three ran pretty decent. Two manuals and one automatic. The M5s were in the 108-110 range like I posted before (4.10s, ORX, etc), the auto was a solid 106 with just an ORX. Miss those damn cars.

Don't waste your money on headers man. Your not going to produce enough gain to justify the cost on that 4V. Get an ORX and stop there on the exhaust. I picked up 3 tenths and 3 mph on every one of my Machs with a mid pipe.

I've had them. 4.10 is just to much gear. These cars are not 4v modulars that live off gear. I ran to the rev limit with my 4.10's @ 6800 in the 1/4 and that necessitated the change for me. But I never really liked them. To much shifting, not enough accelerating.
It is, all n/a Machs are if you compare them to ls cars. It's not that they run bad, they just don't run like a ls up top. Come run Notch and yo will see what I mean.....oh that's right Sepno yanked you up top pretty good.
3v's are turds....worse than a 4v.....that's pretty bad.

In case you didnt know either... 2v's are turds too.....worse then the 3v.
