why is that? I have a 2011 v6 charger and I love that thing. So much room. Plenty of power. Excellent mpgs. 31-34 on the interstate. The updated lx platform is awesome. Just a little on the heavy side.

Everyone is "surprised" by the out come cause RT's are 14sec cars AT BEST. Even tho me and bloodykisses were telling everyone they are more like mid 13 sec cars in the right conditions. A mild bolt on f body is EASILY a bottom 13sec car and you beat him by a 1/2 car. Doesnt sound like a mid 14 sec car to me.

Bloodykisses - 2009+ RT is a low 13, high 12's stock at around 106-110 in most cases with minor to no mods. The Eagle engine woke it up a bunch. I still believe you should take him though. Post back results.

Bloodykisses - Yeah really. I have seen quite a few new RT's with a predator and cold air intake with a decent tire running low 13's high 12's. ive also seen with just a nitto r tire and good air low to mid 13's. the eagle engine woke things up a good amount.

I think that this was the debate..............

Probably a good thing to break them up a bit. If not they will be making love to each other.

Thats what it sounded like to me. Having his front bumper to your rear would be 1 car length, so having that front bumper another 1/2 car behind would be 1 1/2.

Sorry brain fart. Still car and a half from probably a high 12sec car is FAR from a mid-low 14sec car...

Sounds spot on to me. OP car should be a high 12sec car with a tire. Im pretty damn sure these races were ran WELL past 110mph. Even so the RT only lost by 1.5 cars. Back at 110mph which is AROUND where these cars trap it was almost an even race. So explain to me how what Bloodykisses said was inaccurate.

Bottom line everyone said bet the house it will be a murder. Guess what. It wasnt.

Where did I say it was a mid-low 14 second car? Keep assuming, because if you took the time to read this thread and the one prior to it...

Either way, good run. Had this been one of the older ones, I would have expected you to walk away. The newer ones, I'd give a bit more credit to, but not enough to win.

Sounds like its time to mod-up either way.

You Mopar guys... LOL
Jumping to defense even when someone says they didn't expect it to be as big a kill as everyone else stated.

I didnt mean you directly. The general consensus around here when they hear RT is that its a 14 sec turd. You're not one of those people.

1.5 cars, on a roll from what to where? nobody said the op's car was a c6z, but... it would thrash a stock RT, which in that type of race putting a car and half on something is what was expected. had that race continued it would have gotten even worse..

take it from a dig and 3+ cars easy in a full length qtr (= how many tenths?? a mid 13 sec car vs high 12 sec.. any disputing that?)..

you know you mopar guys were thinking a fender/door race. not a car and half through 50mph swing at hwy spd.. both of those cars are waaay to slow to race from a roll calling it justified. both would have nearly ZERO traction issues..

Definition: high mph roll racing; used for high hp cars with traction issues where a dig race would be pointless

certainly NOT the case here. Fbody pulled, steadily and would keep pulling till he let out.

a much better race would've been an SRT vs the OP... that, i believe would've had the opposite outcome giving the win to the SRT by 1.5 cars or so.
