I was surprised to but its true there are intake/tuned R/T's running high 12's

I'm not saying it's not possible. But could you provide a link so I can see it? I ran 12.85@108.35 DA 1872 stock while making 405WHP/410TQ and have yet to beat it and now I'm making considerably more power and can't hook at all. But it's not worth me getting sticky tires with the amount I get to the track.

I will post up some videos. They are doing high 12's but @ 105-106 not 110-114 like the SRT's

This. My girl's 5th gen went 12.90 @ 107 showroom stock...so i would definitely believe those R/T numbers.

I said this is exactly what would happen in the other thread. The eagle's are torque monsters...

Put a tuned, cai,dr,exhaust Eagle against a STOCK 6.1 with the same drag radial/driver and im putting my money on the Eagle. The 6.1 will likely trap a mph or two more but the RT would likely 60 foot the **** outta the 6.1 to the point where it wouldnt have enough track to catch up. Now if this were on the street and ran past the 1/4 then yes the 6.1 would come around eventually.

The fbody should take the win.
I can speak for me & bloodykisses. We dont spew BS. We've been modding and racing these cars since the very beginning. We dont speak on what we hear, we speak on what we have seen over and over.

Bottom line a Eagle 5.7 with a decent driver and fair conditions is a mid 13 sec car. Great weather, low 13. Minor mods (cai, tune, tire) in fair-good conditions is a 12 sec car.

^now that is well said.

The issue was that it wsas coming off as they are consistant low 13 cadrs which isnt the case.

That said its prob safe to safe to say the "avg" is mid 13?

I totally agree. With the average challenger owner I wouldn't say its a mid 13 sec car, especially if its a 6 speed. Now is the CAR capable of mid 13's on average? Yes.

Oh when I say a 12 sec car I don't mean mid 12's. I'm talking high 12's here lol

Giving my buddy the hit in his 12 challenger rt i put roughly 3 cars on him from 40-110.. It was starting to get real ugly. I wasn't even shifting fast.
He pulls around 1 from a dig-100 on other buddies 08 2wd tbss.. Pulls it around 2 from a 30-100.

On average, they won't even consider running bottom 13s@105+, let alone 12s@108+.... Those things are dogs in stock form.

I know nothing about how they run modded.. I just know stock it is a joke.

So you race one rt (or maybe 2 or 3) and now you KNOW all and can speak for EVERY rt challenger. Seems legit...

Isn't there also some trick with the key fob that makes the throttle response better too?

I've ran several... I have seen even more race.. I have seen stock/modded ones at the track. I have never been impressed with one, actually let down because I do like them a LOT!

Are there some out there that run good? Absolutely... But 95% of time, they are a huge let down.

In stock form they are barely over a 2V Gt.

Most RT Challengers I've seen have been dogs, but then again, you have to consider who the average driver of them is. It is like the 5th gen. Sure the car is CAPABLE of doing X, but somebody who doesn't know how to drive it won't do it justice

I have drove this RT several times, driver error is not the case in this situation... Driver error wasn't the issue. He actually launches his car a tad better than I do (my 3-4 launches VS his 50+), I shift better than him however.
