It's neat but kind of sucks for street. Have to fight with brakes to the floor since it nearly overpowers them.

A 6-speed, even NON-Type S would have smoked your Sonata. Also, 0-110 with an auto (base or type S) you probably would lose as well.

Nice runs though and good luck with your new ride.
Thanks for the reply but I disagree with all of this. My good friend has a highly modded 03 CL-S 6spd (heads, headers, pulley, intake, tb, intake manifolds, and more) we went dead even from 40-110 and he would put a hurt on a stock TL 6spd.

Also it's not my car.

I had the tuner increase rpms in idle so the car would sound nastier

power under the curve has nothing to do with racing. ESP roll racing where you start in gear at 4500+ (hopefully haha). avg power between shifts and weight are the 2 main factors. gearing is a close 3rd.

right, wouldn't the "avg power between shifts" still classify as usable power under the curve? even if that section of the curve is just 2k rpms?

not unless you're in a cummins. 5500-7k is not under the curve.

Because it is winter and people get bored easily. lol

The best outcome for this race would have been if the two cars killed each other. Then they would both be dead. They both suck.

I've had more fun in that TL than I have had in my G8 so far this winter.

Going down to dealership right now.
May be my last few days with the SRT10.

Going to see how much trade in they will give me on a new 2500 or a SRT8 jeep (which they'd have to order).

Really leaning towards the 2500. Buy a tuner and crank that bitch up to smoke screen people

You can make an argument that any car sucks... because it's all based on an opinion.
