KFC, yes I already told about the spill... But u obviously skiped that too and posted about him making 600 dyno sheet n all....

Ohio, yes that's the same truck that Carlos demolished some time back. Truck dude was somewhat cool about it, but did hurt his dik ridding friends.

I don't know what the Green and Red are but the Black is pretty much a GT35R but able to mount in stock location and even have the stock heat shield mount to it. FP = Forced Performance. http://www.forcedperformance.net/merchant2/

I would expect it seeing as I made 418 whp and he made 525, I was supposed to race him on stock turbo but he went and snuck the Black on there and I was the first (and only) victim of that setup.

Yup, I sold it to a board member on Thirdhonk, I kept the built T56, ECU and accessories to put in my 240.

Ancient Japanese secret.....
FP makes some different tweaked stock housing (from the outside...lol) IX turbos that can make quite the number properly tuned with proper mods... The setup and tune is VERY critical to the driveability and boost hit.
For dummies like me the colors are easier to remember than the spec numbers.
Then there's the whole BB option.....

Simple install?

There are a few turbos that easily bolt on myh cobalt while some are a pita?

How are these FP's?

Iirc u send out ur stock 9 Turbo n they re work it.
White>Green>Red>Black.
I believe they change fin numbers also. As in they gain 1 or 2 on one side n Lose 1 on the other, not sure if its on the Red+ only though. Things like That

On the Evo you can even bolt the heatshield back on with a new FP. And yes... 30-40lbs. of boost is a reality... 3 hour job to install the turbo... Then you need a second fuel pump, larger lines, injectors.... you get the idea... A serious hp increase is not truly "bolt on" but will appear so to the uneducated eye in a parking lot.

not even fuel rail is needed. Just injector and a fuel pump.

Thats with most cars, you don't need larger lines. Its because alot of the older guys saw the fuel had a really small % of methanol in it and thought it would eat through lines but the percentage is so small that it has no effect on anything. It does do a good join cleaning your tank though that i must say.
