I think last I asked he wanted to ditch the LS2 intake manifold or at least have it ported, so I imagine Intake/TB is next

I do definately want to at least change my intake manifold. I'm sure that will free up a little top end. H/C would be nice...and not out of the question in the longrun, but there's just too much I want to finish on the firebird before sinking a ton of money into the GTO. Too many projects, not enough money! haha

Nice video and even nicer cars!!! Very impressed with Quickshifts car. Love that S95, with that compression id say its begging for boost.

Ok, good to know...and yea, the fact that he's on E85 doesn't help me at all lol. I was hoping he was on 93 pump to give me an idea of how much boost I can run safely on straight 93 gas. I'm thinking 13-14 will be ok with my compression ratio (8.6:1) but there's only one way to really find out...

I support that! I gained 57whp/30wtq with my cam swap, same dyno. Pretty easy to do too.

Only one way to find out like you said!

I would be on the conservative side if it were me though

Nightmare, I think with alky you would be a very happy. I run an AlkyControl kit on my Buick and is incredible how much more boost and power I could make. I am currently set on 26PSI of boost. If my engine has not been touched, which I am sure it has not, it's at about 8.5:1 compression, similar to yours. You could probably run a bit more boost on the pump gas as is. Anyways, sweet T/A and good races.

LOL, I didn't put that vid in because it was such a short run, and I think Scott was at a really crappy RPM, but theres no doubt you'd pull on the goat now. The regals getting some major props in the youtube comments too. People love that thing!

I may still give the meth a shot since I just love the idea of pump gas for a street car. E85 is non-existent around here too, so were stuck with either race gas or meth injection. Thanks for the tips though man!

There is no E85 out there? Ahh, the only advantage of living in Iowa

Yeah, might as well find a good meth kit

Yea I'm sure you guys have MORE than enough corn out your way! I think theres one station thats about 45 minutes from me that sells it, but **** driving there every time I need gas. I'd take a 75-100 HP loss before going that route!
