Most will agree with me, no matter how much u want it to be otherwise, the ls1 would of taken the win. I dont need 600+hp to run 10s. I should be able to break with weight reduction. Car sits at 3640 empty... whats ur rebuttal?

We know that no matter what, nothing out there will leave a stang behind... they are gods gift to the modern muscle. But just put things in perspective, I ran 11.5 with a 1.7... sure the stang could match my time with SLICKS and 1.5 60. If I were on slicks and cut a 1.5, my ride would be an 11.1 to 11 flat all motor ride. And I can lift the front tire.

As implied here faster you get hard it is to gain a tenth etc.

negative DA. They arent doing that in the summer and thats all i care about. If they are doing that, i should be running 11.0. Ive raced several GTs... its ugly.

We have yet to see a boss go 10's n/a. But have been both manual and auto 5.0's do it.

And you needed heads, cam, etc to go 11.5, I did that with bolt ons lifting both tires on DR's trapping 119, and wbt went 10's with bolt ons trapping 125. My car went 10.3@133 with 640whp. Weight of almost 3800lbs without me in it. So trapping a whole 16mph more, weighing more, less gear with 3.15's, and more power, and over a second faster. I'm not worried. You'll need least 150whp more to catch me. So let me know when you run what my bolt on manual did on DR's. And other bolt on 5.0's.

Im able to do well for a ride that cost me probably 1/3 of what the 5.0 cost, and its payed off as of next month, so dont know what im doing next. Was thinking of building up an iron block and possibly go STS or SC, not sure what that engine will go in, but shooting for bigger power. around 600 at the push of a pedal, no more spray.

Sorry but i dont see it. And no boss has gone fast because no one buys a boss and die hard drag races it. My car is substantially faster then my buddies 5.0 of the same mods as me. With longtubes he MIGHT hang within a couple cars of me. There IS a hp difference between the 2 cars. For example. He made 395whp on the same dyno i made 418whp. We have the same mods, gears, boss intake, etc. The only thing he doesnt have is a TB... and you have said it does absolutely nothing. Currently my car weighs 3360lbs still with stock wheels, brembos, big front sway bar, battery etc etc. Will be right around 3200 when done. Full enterior, nothing removed.

And yes TB has shown to do crap with the boss intake.

Thats true, I did need some heads, small cam and all that to get here... But is still not bad for the age of the vehicle and technology involved in it. Sure the 5.0 is a much better contender out the box, but you got to give me some type of credit.

Thanks, finally something remotely nice coming from you... I would love to boost and think the STS has a wicked turbo sound. Some say I could get close to 600 on them, but then again, dont want to get to crazy, as it adds up in the end, and at some point, high horse power starts working against you.
I forgot to add That I was also the Fastest ET of the night and it was pretty packed... Im on my way, hope to soon break 10s and stop all mods in this car.
