Good runs. Does the ls2 car have anything besides bolt ons? H/C or cam only? certainly didnt look like it but in the beginning I thought I heard it loping. I thought the ls1 moved out pretty well lol

Nice runs. The 5.0 did great the 1st run for only having a tune. The mufflers do crap but sound. But he got murdered the 2nd run. Which figure he was going to being out powered and heavier.

Auto vs stick on the street, no prep. Takes a minute for the stock car to get rollin, but when he did he came around easy.

Technically, on that 2nd race, the LS2 car won by where the 1320 line is.

The car you heard loping was the Z28 ( which was on the right).

The first run the Camaro was spinning HORRIBLY. Second run was much better, as you can tell. Mustang isn't much heavier, cloth base model, but it definite is heavier. Camaro made 370rwhp converter locked, 333rwhp converter unlocked.

2960 was without him in it.

Just what I can remember off hand...

No AC
No heat
No radio
No bumper supports
No rear seats (the back is what loses more weight, not the pads obviously)
15" skinnies in front
15" wheel in back with a bias ply
LS1 swap lost weight
I think it has an aftermarket K member in it, not sure.

And I'm not sure how much gas was in it when he weighed it, which can drop a decent amount obviously. Still has factory carpet in it as well.

There's probably some more stuff, I'll see if he can chime in.

Weight falls out of these cars pretty easy.

It is definitely easier to get weight out of Fbodies than C5/C6s, thats for sure. Now if only it was easy to shed 500lbs from a 5th gen

Most people dont want to delete stuff like AC/Heat in vettes or their new Camaro.
