i dont have them yet... but its what ill be running. There are many other ways to easily remove weight... but they will effect comforts/handling/stopping. Im sure ill find more things over time though. That a radial skinny and a drag radial mickey thompson. I wont run bias plys. I want some control

This is what will take to run with that vette with out power adder. Full bolt ons, and 2600lb weight. This car went a little faster after this with little more weight from this video.

Or as Evan said full build.

Both these cars are pure race cars.

JPC said they had it down to about 2600 when it went 9.7-9.8 or so. In the video they list race weight as 2865lbs.

The bottom car is 300lbs. They are two totally different cars. Top one is bolt 9ons, stock engine, tranny swap, crazy weight reduction.

Bottom car is a stroker engine, tranny swap etc.

Sorry i havent been able to reply guys internet wasn't working. The 5.0 has boss intake, cai, kooks headers, magnaflow exhaust, and a tune from some shop(american muscle) maybe. My car is just a well thought out H/C/I ls2 soon to be faster . 3.90 gears, vacuum pump, port my intake, meth injection, and maybe some qa1 double adjustable shocks. I want to run in the 10.2-5 range at 133+ or faster if the car will do it.
I will post this on svtp and see what they have to say. Unless someone already has lol.

Oh i was confused. Thought they were the same car.

I want to see a serious shop who knows what there doing make a max effort street car with h/c. Maybe ill be the first to do so.

What bugs me is how everyone thinks they know what these cars are fully capable and constantly compare them to platforms that are 15 years old. This car has been out for 3 years and people have already dug into the 10s with bolt ons. No one has the right to say what they are capable of in the after market world.

I highlighted the 5.0's biggest issue.

Your car is sick. Very good combo. Runs hard

I know least 2 GT500 's that would run and 3 5.0's that would run you.

Damn ford guys....when they have the weight advantage you never hear **** about weight.....when they don't they whine.
im not sure evan is sticking up for the 5.0. I think hes stating that this is what it takes for that 5.0 to be able to roll with the C6 current build. Hes not comparing mod to mod...

**** if you have to do all of that should have just got a vette in the first place. Toxic all you have to do is drive it down here and you'll get plenty of action.
