I think GTRs making a bit more power then what that dyno # is. Low boost number?

Nahh, GT500s are just that slow. Ask automach.

No low boost number, It's just on stock turbos. Stock turbos won't flow more than ~600 ish whp.

Either GTR makes lot more power or GT500 makes lot less.

Good runs but I would think a 700 whp gt500 would have put a smack down on ya! So how much power you really making lol

740 at that. I would think 140+whp difference would make for a better run then that. (and yes, I'm familiar with drivetrain loss for awd vs rwd) Was he spinning? Maybe the GTR guys can explain why they think this happened, vs 'here we go again'.?

Anyone who sees numbers like this and a race like this will think you are sandbagging the hell out of your numbers.

I'm sure gtr made 585 on a lower reading dyno. I'm sure a dynojet he is over 600awhp

I'm sorry man, it just gets old I have to repeat myself all the time.

No I'm not lieing about what the car makes. I have no reason too. You can see on the 83 roll he was catching me but I let off when I rev'ed out 5th. All stock turbo GTR's on E85 make about the same power on a mustang dyno.

It's not about numbers. The car has good average power and torque throughout the powerband paired with AWD traction, low drag coefficient and lightning fast shifts.

I have yet to see an impressive trap speed from a 700+whp GT500 but I know plenty of full weight full bolt on E85 GT-Rs trapping over 135mph in the 1/4. Many of them range from 580whp-620whp on a dynojet or mustang dyno.

That has to be the worse 700whp+ GT500 in the world. Is he starting in like 4th or something. This GTR has raced a few cars and won that it should have lost to. Something don't don't add up.

I don't think his car runs bad at all. Here are a few examples of 700+WHP mustangs I've ran.

Yeah i would also LOVE to know the secret to beating cars with 100+ more rwhp, in a heavier car making less power...

Like said just don't add up. I raced a GTR that was 100whp under me and won. pulled him hard from a dig none the less. Then my buddy raced him when he GT500 was at 630whp and the GTR was bolt ons and 93 oct. And pulled him yet agian. Then you run this cars and pull way to hard. Just don't add up. Seems like your on a really low reading dyno our local mustang dyno reads about 14% off of what the dynojets read. Or hiding some power mods.

PDV is not on pump gas.... Pump gas to E85 is a HUGE step on these cars. Seen the car run in person and seen it for myself and what its capable of. Sure as hell is no slouch.

so u made 585 on a mustang dyno..the 740 is prolly on a dynojet..that explains it to me..the first run w new power looks like it should..though I think the gt500 driver is lacking a bit on the shifts..u can see the nose of the car fluctuate up and down really well..that means he could be shifting faster..nonetheless..good kill and fast gtr
