Whats the difference between Boss heads and GT 5.0 heads? I thought they were the same. Can't say I have researched them that much either.

So far my buddy hasn't had an issue with them. They definitely take a little longer, but if you aren't taking them on and off a lot, I know I won't, then what's the issue?
The washer that come with them are oval shaped and get stuck a lot. They also bend easy, and get cut groves in them. The UNilug are PIA to get on and off cause of this. If smart you order Mcgard lug/washers. They washer is actually round instead of oval. The oval ones will need replaced after 3-4 changes if you want them to do there job and the rims to tighten correctly.

Terry Reeves owns/operates teambeefcakeracing. His nickname is BeefCake. Hence the name.. He also works at a Ford dealer. He is sponsored by vortec/paxton/SSW/RACESTAR and now MMR for new build. He has great deals on blowers and all. Its where I got mine. If you call him he gives better deals. I'm actually talking now to get his current built engine. Ford sent him the new Ford racing block to test. They sent 10 out to people. Him and JPC are only ones I know for sure that got one.

Do you know this from personal experience or do you just regurgitate everything you hear on forums?

I from personal experience. I have own two sets of racestars. One on manual and one on auto. Both times I sold, but then when wanted to buy new set was suck a great deal hard to pass up. Both times I paid less then 1000 with tires. Both times bought mcgards.

Buddy two weeks ago used his unilug racestars on his Shelby. Stripped 2 lugs taking off cause washer, and broke one also.

Bad ***, love those wheels. If I still had my F-body I'd be rocking race stars for sure.

I'll dark my Darkstars any day at the price... $520 > $1500+. If I was going to buy a high dollar wheel, I'd either get some Magnums 2.0 or Alumastars 2.0 in the 17/15 Anodized black combo...those make RTS look like BDF wheels. I don't know what that would make my Darkstars though.

Ohio, I think you missed the part where I said I won't be taking them on and off much at all. I don't have a reason to put crap tires on. Why would I spend 600 bucks more to get direct drill when I'll take the wheels off MAYBE once a month?

The Boss heads are CNC'ed versions of the 5.0 head.

I've read that they flow similar numbers to a LS7 head.

lol thanks. You too. I'd die for a ZR1 but this countrys roads would eat it up so fast it would look like a relic.
