Well your pretty much driving the same thing? Minus the engine, some suspension, body, few other things but still. People could argue the exact same **** about 5th gen Camaros is all I'm saying... Nothing towards you man just sayin. Like I mentioned I'm a big fan of both 5th gen SS & ZL1. Really starting to like the new 5.0s haha I just thought it was funny that's all

I just can't wait until 2014! looking forward to seeing what changes GM got up their sleeves

Sweet! With your way of thinking, I can consider the motor I built in my race car, just a bolt on motor.

I love this place

Thanks for clarifying, I was told bolt ons and a tune by some guys in the staging lanes. But you know how that goes at the drag strip lol , the entire crowd was expecting the ZL1 to win also

I'm suprise you fell for that. No bolt-on 5.0 is going to leave that hard. lol I knew it from the moment I watched the vid but decided not call BS in fear that Willizm and R6 might chime in and start riding my sack again.

[QUOTE=Redfire 03;17200225] No bolt-on 5.0 is going to leave that hard. /QUOTE]

I wouldnt say no bolt on. Im pretty sure there have been true bolt on 5.0's that have been in the 10's, lifting wheels, and getting 60fts that would make the one in the video look like its sitting still.

this...

The car in this video had an incredible launch...for a 20 inch wheel. It still doesnt hold a candle to an all out max effort 10 second NA car launch.

Well, I prefer using common sense, which in this case paid off considering my assumptions were entirely CORRECT! AGAIN!!! I mean, after all the car is on a 20" wheel, not ordinary equipment on your typical bolt-on "60ft killer" Coyote. 2+2=4!

I'm just a bit sharper than the average I guess.

We can only strive to be as smart as you and have the money you have, unfortunately I don't think it's in the cards for the majority on here.

Success is in the cards for whomever is willing to strive for it. If you feel you're not up to the task, well, that's your fault not mine. Sorry

Nope, not in a rush to either. Being that its completely stock as a rock (will probably stay that way for a while too) I'm in no rush really. Its a high 10 to mid 11sec car @ between 128-133mph "depending" the way it sits. Now when the modding starts that's a different story.

I've butt fucked a few Poopstangs on the highway with it tho

Lol! Lost to some too including a crazy fast turbo 408W Fox that pulled probably 4.5 cars on me from a roll.

I know that car and was fully aware of what it could do before hand so I wasn't shocked at the outcome.
