**** sounds funny, i know. But he knows his stuff. He's tuned fox's to nissans to 1000whp LSx to hondas. Whatever. Another well known honda tuner down here is one of the best tuners for bikes, he just started tuning bikes too. EFI tuning is EFI tuning.
Lashway and Masport. Hear good things about both of them.

Keep in mind the tuners that charge $500 for a complete tune spend less than half the time on a customer's car versus their own

You must know it all!
Im sure you've had your car tuned by everyone. Pat G, veangeance, lashway, masport, slohawk, tick performance, frost, shortuning, bluecat, RPM, etc... You know what they all have to offer!
Great next time i go to tune my car ill PM you and ask who gives me the most bang for the buck. notsrs.
All heater does it post passive aggressive jabs at everyone. Literally contributes to this forum as much as a guy with no ***** contributes to humanity. Nothing.

No killer chiller, just an oversize intercooler jug and a dual pass heat exchanger.
To settle the what livernois does debate, on a car with a decent cam in it or anything more than just bolt ons etc, our tuner usually drives it about half an hour after the dyno tuning, then starts it up multiple times while cold and then takes it out a second time before the customer gets it. You can decide if that's worth the money to you guys or not. I'm not on here to try and get my work business, we have more than enough.

Finally read through all the posts. A lot of wtf posts, lol. First off, good runs Greddy and MRT! I was kind of expecting it to be a little different than last time with the changes, but still glad ya'll got it done. MRT, get tuned man. I know its hard to believe minor changes in the A/F, timing, etc will make that much difference, but trust me man, a good tune will have you running side by side with Collin at the very least. Not saying you will pull him, but at the very least you will stay dead nutz even. As far as tuners and price, my guy charged me $300 to dyno and then street tune my car. It's not that complicated, especially by someone with experience. PM me if you want and l will help you get yours squared away for cheap and have it done right. Your tune isn't a bad tune, its just an a very conservative/safe tune imo. A lot left on the table. I have a good/fairly aggressive tune, and was able to run Greddy and do well since he had a bad tune, etc. So with you having a manual and bigger cam, there's no reason you shouldn't at least stay even with him.
Glad to see you on here, Greddy...if you think MF's are bad, you haven't seen anything yet, lol.
Don't waste your money on a FAST. Total waste for the gains. Unless you find one for dirt cheap, *** that.

For you guys yakkin about a tune...
Adam's right... It don't matter to a good tuner what they are tuning....honda's, supra's, subie's, Mitsu's....it don't really matter if they are good. My car was the first ls car that Franz tuned and he's only done about 3 to date. if the guy knows what he's doin and has experience then he can figure out how to manipulate the software and he'll know how it interpolates from one table to the next. The same guy will probably tune my termi notch if we can get some software for it. The biggest benefit to a tuner is a good dyno.......look at the dyno. If it's a loaded dyno like the Dyno Dynamics Franz has then you will get a better tune. He can choose the rate of his samples that way instead of just blow threw them like a dynojet. Since I have started making changes again to my car we have picked up 30+tq(actually probably near 40tq) threw the middle by being able to go full throttle 4000rpm(example) and stay at 4000rpm at full throttle and of course part throttle.

HCI2000SS why not make a thread in your region on here looking for a good tuner? My buddy lives up in flint and he's always telling me how its all domestic guys over there and no imports. Im surprised not many guys tune LSx's over there, i can ask him who tuned his buddy's G8 and his dads supercharged C6 for you if you want.

Yeah i figured!
Alright i just sent him a message.
There are some great tuners here in MI, and two that I know of that are very good with LS based cars...Livernois being one of them unfortunately lol. The other one i'm in the process of looking at, but really won't have the money for a bit yet. If you could ask your buddy i'd definitely be curious who tuned his ride...chances are that i've at least heard the name. I'd appreciate that! I'm also in the process of talking to someone on here right now about a possible tune as well
