Man, our cars are in completely different classes, but if it will offer a tissue than fine, lol. I think I'm in there around the 8:15 mark. DA was around 1500', prep sucked donkey D..he does pull a cammed LS3 and puts up a good fight on a H/C 5.7 GTO. Goes to show what his car is capable of in the real world stop light to stop light. He jumps me pretty good around the 3:30 mark, took me a second to get back around. Thats enough to lose to on the street all day.

4.6's, lt1's, ls1's, ls3's, l99's, yeah, I've upset a couple.
Edit: ^^ Very generalized statement. I've outrun a few v8s, of all varieties. Some where driver error and/or driver mod, but most are just getting outrun by the car.

Traction is key on these 3.7 runs. I don't care what you line up against them, LS1, Mach, GT500, etc...if they don't have a good enough tire and know how to drive like the OP and his pops, then yea somebody's feelings are getting hurt. Naturally that goes both ways.

Yes..the 3.7s are badass indeed!
IMO this is a good thing. I love the fact that with the technology of today, the new V6s can make the power needed to produce times that were more indicative of V8s powered cars.
This is just a normal progression and something that should be expected as technology advances.
