I don't know how you think the 6.1 SRT8 runs low 13's since it runs fender to fender with a G8 GT which runs right around the mid 13 range. Obviously the 6.1 you saw wasn't stock since it runs in the same range as the G8 GT.

Stock means original tires too, which make a huge difference since the SRT8 has traction issues with the stock tires. The article I posted is more accurate than 2 cars that you presumed to be stock that probably ran on different days, which also makes a big difference.
Sorry buddy but a srt8 6.1 runs bottom 13s. It's faster than a g8 gt period.

I posted proof that it doesn't but you haven't posted proof that it does. Anyone can say my stock SRT8 ran bla bla bla, so it's just talk until you can back it up.

Oh look at this, more proof that it runs mid 12's:

A time slip doesn't prove it's stock or even an SRT8. Try again! Besides I can't even read it....

Nothing is proof to you, not even a stock SRT8 pulling on you, I'd bet.

Back with this argument again of how you read some magazine where a G8 GT just barely lost to a SRT8 and now you feel that your G8 will run every stock SRT8 DOWN? Stock SRT8 is a low 13s car on stock tire. You are a mid\high 13s.

LOL Unless the SRT8 driver is a moron, he will pull you.

Its true,

SRT 8 is faster stock for stock. They are pretty close but the SRT traps about 3-4 MPH more from personal experience (I owned a 2008 G8GT)

Close as in maybe .3 tenths and 3mph difference. All races come down to driver... but stock for stock with equal drivers, G8 GT is slower. GXP on other hand... diff story.

Maybe you can read this one better. It was stock on street tires and yes it is an 07 SRT8 Charger 6.1l.

If you take the seats and Onstar out should be good for at least 10mph.

The G8's stock are not that quick. I didn't have problems with them on the street or at the local 1/8th mile track in my IS350... My IS should have been a 13 flat car though. Ran 8.4 averages in the 1/8th depending on traction.

Although I will say that they do like mods. Especially a good tune.

My 12.88 pass was a 8.42... sounds like your IS moved out.

True. Tune wakes them up a lot.

Dyno Tune and cai g8 will be neck and neck with a stock srt8.
