I ate a SRT8 Charger today.

People really have to learn if you have a STOCK license plate, you're probably not stock...

funny how "numb" we are to mid 11 second cars?? Now unless you're trapping 130+ and low 10's it's like you're driving a ******* pinto lol..

My friend has, at any given time, has 4 or 5 cars INSIDE his shop that are 600+ to the tire... I take my friend's (not enthusiast's like us) for a ride in my car and they're holding on for their lives.. Then i tell them "You know this car is actually slow?" they look at me like i'm nuts hahahaa.

98% of people don't care/know what fast cars are. Most people have a car just to get from point A to B and depending on your wealth/status they buy fancier cars. Very few people go in wondering how fast the car is 0-60 or how hard it pulls after 100 lol.

There's a famous saying down here, don't matter if it's 100hp, 500hp or 1500hp, all cars will get 100+ mph nowadays .

Good job showing that guy that his SRT8 really isn't that fast. I recently had a Hemi pickup and a GMC diesel pickup both think they could take the G8 and I smoked them both. The funny thing was they both tried to catch me after I dusted them and they just couldn't keep up lol.

Yeah I'm sure it hard for a srt car to keep up with your beast.

I think it had more to do with your 'not fast' comment. A stock auto 392 is a pretty fast car to most of us slow guys.

This

G8 and srt 8 cars are great cars IMO. 392 would kill his car but ofc he picks on heavy trucks

Nice run OP! Those 392s actually pull pretty good up top, so the fact that you stopped his pull and walked on by says a lot about your G8.

And I know exactly what you mean about how numb we are to mid 11 second cars. I get that same "you're crazy as hell" look when I tell passengers I need more power and that my car really isn't all that quick compared to all the 650 horse cars, modded LS7s, etc, etc.

Get your story straight AGAIN, the trucks wanted to race me, I didn't provoke them. Why is it that so many of you can't comprehend what you read?

I know exactly what you are talking about. I took a bunch of guys out for rides at work last fall and it's all they talk about for the last 6 months. Keep trying to tell them that my car is not "fast" as far as heavily modded cars go but they won't let it die. Especially hard when they are trying to explain to my friend that "No, you don't understand man, his car is FAST!". This friend has a 8 second nova and a 9 second camaro.

I Might have those parts i mentioned in the above post installed by then??.. show up and see what happens..

Appreciate the invite, but I'm a little too old (and wise) to "chase after mustangs" 200 miles away lol thanks though
Chase after mustangs?
