Default Ls1 vs DSM

So I am comming back from the girls house around 1am, going down RT28 near Washinton D.C., when I see an Eclipse that has a HUGE sticker that said turbo on the back and his plates read "DSM POWER. He was riding my a$$ for a while so I get into the other lane and creeps up on me, all I heard was the turbo (loud as hell), soon as he lined-up bumper to bumper we nail it around 50mph roll. I put a good 2-3 cars on him then shut it down. The 2nd race we pull up at a light and go from a dig. The guy in the DSM does not line up with me at the light, instead puts him self a car behind me in the other lane! WTF! This is not the first time I had a ricer do this, guessing it might give him the advantage in his mind. OK, so the light turns green, I had 4 cars on him by 60mph, and hooked like a ****!

Well I beat this guy from a roll and a dig, but he wont give up! The last race is a sure winner in the rice handbook,"Ricer Fly By". The DSM punches it when he is about 8 cars or so back. I see this coming so I flipped the switch and put another 125hp on his a$$ and never passed me. lol Then he stopped playing.

Good one. It's nice to have an extra 125 handy. I have an extra 150.

This is odd... I had a similar experience with a turbo Laser. He kept riding my *** in town and I'd zip like 4 cars on him quickly. Then he'd get next to me and floor it, again, 4 cars before I figured he learned his lesson. Then we're going out of town going about 40 when he's on my *** again. Then he does the little trying to shoot out around me but I nail it and put like 10 cars on him this time. By this time, I'm done, but he still wants more. So I head home on the highway and he gets in front of me. Nasty black smoke is billowing from his exhaust and I'm just cruising in 6th gear keeping up with him to about 100. He kept going, so I'm guessing he thought he beat me on the highway I'll see him in town now, and he revs at me, but won't do anything else. I guess I need to get him back on the highway and actually put up a fight.

These are typical experiences. Most ricer drivers are total ***-hats without a clue. You can't get it through their thick skulls that their cars are slow and gay. Even when you clearly demonstrate the superiority of American muscle.

Recently I was sitting at a light, waiting to turn left onto a 45 MPH road. A silver Eclipse with a young punk at the wheel is behind me. The light turns and I calmly make my left onto the 4 lane road, properly turning into the inside lane. Well, ricer boy must have been excited by my Camaro as he swings wide to get into the right lane and floors it. I see him do this in my mirror so I get on it, but not WOT as that would blow my street tires off. I easily keep him behind me, even widen the distance. When I reach 50 MPH, I get off. This idiot is not worth a ticket, I thought to myself. Well, ricer boy floors it again from about 4 cars back and this time I don't do anything. I'm already at the speed limit, and he's not worth any trouble from the po-po. He does his ghey little fly by, prolly hitting 75 MPH in the process. I pray for a cop, but there was none.

At the next light, I want to pull up next to him, lower the window and tell him that "your little car is gay and slow and not worth my time" but he turns right as I am pulling up to the straight lane. Oh well, another clueless wonder.

Good kill. There are some really cool DSM tuners out there though. A good friend of mine has a bone stock GS-T with a totally stock exterior with a turbo-back, boost controller, and other little goodies. That's somethin rare these days around the import camp.

good kill, but don't get it stuck in your head that all DSMers are ricers. in fact if you've ever visited a DSM board, you'll see that many of them have the same kind of posts about ricers and their antics. unfortunately most of the idiot drivers out there tend to drive imports, though there are those select few that taint the domestic muscle.

i don't know why they have to be so retarded. A long time ago I raced a buddy in his stock SS and he slowly put about a good 3 cars on me on the freeway. I thought it was a good kill, I never thought that I would murder him. Point is, I didn't try to race him 20 more times, and after losing 20 times pull a ricer fly by. It's ricers that give imports a bad name. For shame.

Your right about the ricers giving the imports a bad name. Not much of a fan for the imports but around this area (D.C) there are some that put up a good fight and others I have to spray. Just the other night a red civic (hatch back) pulls next to me, I hear the turbo start to kick in pulled about 2 cars on me from a 40mph roll! I hate those power adders lol. Then I used mine! and about 5 cars up I shut her down, Always nice to have that extra HP when u need it!

That's exactly what I was tryin to say. In my opinion, the DSM guys are the most honorable of all the import tuners. Supra guys have fast cars but they tend to be arrogant ********, just like the LS1 guys.

Oops, did I say that?
