Default Terminator Swapped SN95 vs 2013 5.0

Great race yesterday just wanted to share even though its not lsx cars.

Intake/tune/slicks. Car has the stock midpipe still and 3.31s.

Sn95 is pullied/long tube/3.73s and a local machine shops ported blower. Made 480ish I believe but was having huge trouble putting it down even on slicks.

was traction seriously that big of an issue? cobra swap should have yarded that 5.0 from any roll.

He has upper and lower control arms and a maximum motorsports torque arm. I honestly think its defective tires. He did that nice burnout and two races and they were barely sticky after we got back to the lot a mile down the road. The last car they were on was a 5.0 and it would spin them into 4th gear.

That 5.0 is a solid 12.0@116 car and has been a best of 11.7 and 119mph. It's def a factory freak.

This was the first race and it was literally 30 seconds before the roll race.

He has UCAs and a torque arm...? Wut? I'm planning on going with a torque arm for my SN95 but that removes the need for UCAs...

My mistake you are correct, lower control arms and torque arm. He has UCA prior to the recent install.

I'm very curious as to how the tires effect him. Like I said, I'm going with a torque arm for handling as well as traction, but if it takes it away like that (I'm assuming it doesn't of course), that would suck...

Hes setting his car up universally pretty much. He just installed the torque arm prior to this weekend along with those slicks. I wouldnt attribute the spinning to the torque arm the tires honestly werent even tacky after all that stuff.

Ill grab the magazine from last month and let you know the run down. He was a feature car in 5.0 Mustang and Fast Fords.
