Ok, lets clear the air since the original poster obviously can't post all the correct facts. And yes . . . I own the slow *** Z28 in the vids.
1. My car has a Yank 3600SS stall not a 4400 stall!
2. The car shifts at 6200 rpm not 6500, but in the heat of the day the trans flares a bit and it will shift a little higher. I need to tune the car badly but have not had a chance yet.
3. Other than the stall the car is stone stock short of a SLP lid and SLP loudmouth catback.
His car has a full dyno tune plus many mods including 4:56 rear gears. It wasn't a surprise he beat a 2:73 geared auto LS1. This car saw 600 miles of driving this week which is average. I'm not interested in making the car the fastest street car, thats left for my 87 Grand National.
The best race which WAS legit was the second race which he still won. We both hit at the same time and both lifted at the same time. He had about 1/2 to 3/4 car at 105.
Those are the facts. Hope everyone enjoys the weekend.

Good Runs... but most likely this because it was a stalled auto which rules out any driver error. Plus a converter is going to give you the best run from your races...

Lol, did he really?? A lid/cb and stall are ''full bolt ons'' now? News to me. A full bolt on, tuned A4 LS1 would slap that Mach silly.

Fellas, I own a late model domestic performance shop and I'm well aware of what it takes to make an LS car fast. This is a true daily beater for me.
We raced. I had 17" street tires and he was on Drag radials and skinnies. I think the outcome was what I expected.
What I didn't expect was for him to bloat my car out like it was something special.

That car would be lucky to put down 300 rwhp. It runs just how every A4 LS1 with basically nothing done should run.
