01 C5 ZO6 vs 2012 BMW M6: 1/2 Mile Drag Race Went to the Chicago 1/2 Mile event this weekend and made 5 passes down the runway. Here is my fastest run of the day. It was almost a perfect launch. A little bit of wheelspin while moving forward then quickly squeezed it to the floor. No spin in 2nd!
The M6 had exhaust, but no idea other than that. He heated up his tires at the start, but still managed to rip him out of the hole and stay ahead. I finished at 164mph to his 147mph.

Forged LS6, blower cam, full exhaust, and an A&A Vortech Si-Trim at 12psi. It put down 630/551 on a hot and very humid day. It was 48-50* at the air field with no humidity, perfect weather. May have been pushing 640-670rwhp on the runs.

the hardest part was just figuring out how to launch and not spin or let the other guy get away from ya. Thats why I limped it both times although i think I was better off than just hitting it hard off the line.
