An F10 M5 Stock is faster than a C6 Z06 Bone Stock from a roll?

I really need that LS7 then because idk if that would happen to my ws6. a 30rwhp gain after a tune on my car would be very nice. Im not mocking just saying i really wish i had that motor after a tune from that simple upgrade thats all.

your right but im sorry man there's no way in hell a C6 Z06 is getting beat by a car that only has 55 more hp and 1000lbs heavier. 55 hp more doesn't do that. maybe 155hp more then yea I can see that. like what most people have been saying there is something that's being left out the whole story isn't being told here.

yea and your also talking about a car that has AWD, twin turbo, and better build than a POS M5... so Id sure hope it would and that M5 is not AWD. BTW thats the only reason why the GTR beats the Vette in the quarter is bc its AWD just saying..

That's the first thing I noticed.
I think it's pretty awesome that GM's outdated pushrod and manual trans is still the benchmark. Can't wait for the C7

Theres a lot more to the puzzle than just comparing peak bhp and weight...
Beans hit it on the head with his first couple of posts.
Two totally different powerbands. Two totally different transmissions, in which the M5 has a huge advantage. The M5 can dyno up to 100rwhp more than the Z. Its really not that far fetched. The M5 beating a Z from a roll is a BIG pill to swallow to the GM loyalist. LITERALLY.

And I don't defend z's from everything, I don't even have one and could care less about them but they are the best car performance wise to pick up for the $$ and you'd have to be extremely delusional to think otherwise.
You euro guys will literally compare anything to anything these days to try to prove your point. Why not compare it based on price ranges... M5 vs ZR1... Or are the M5s also pulling top end on ZR1s now.....lol.

Oh no, the fastest ZR1 only does 27.6 on the backend. M5 would prolly beat it since motortrend prolly picked up 26-28mph
