Idk personally after driving my buddies pullied/bolt on 07 Gt500 making 550whp... we both agreed... it would not be a race between us and i would have a steady walk the entire race...And i drove it in sub freezing temps as well...


But on the other side... he also has a stock ZL1... and that thing just cant get out of its own way lmao

Thats a very broad statement... id put my chips on the table against any eaton 07-12 GT500. Hell a local guy on here (mass) that i frequently talk to raced his buddies 550whp 2012 GT500 with his 420whp bolt on 5.0 (5.0 traps 119 on street tires) and pulled him every time on the roll. Theres more to going fast then power to weight and traction.

Raced a buddies full bolt-on 5.0 with 3.73s when mine was stock. From a 40 roll he keep up to about 75 and after that it wasn't even close. 2010s and newer have trapped over 120mph i have yet to see any bolt on full wieght 5.0 come close to that. Your buddy can't drive is GT500 to be losing to a 420rwhp 5.0.

dang so much hate over a race?calm down fellas lol both cars run good it seems!!last summer i ran a new 2012 gt500 and it was close with my 383 463whp transam maybe a half a car at best i beat him so props to gt500s,the 2013 is even stronger no worrys tho cause i have 200 extra hp waiting lol

760rwhp GT500 should be in the high 130-143 range, minimum. From a 20-40 roll that car should have jumped that Z06, the guy probably had street tires or a 25" tall tire on there. Big HP Cobras got to have a 28" tire for a low speed race.

Nevertheless, Z06's are one of the most feared cars out there, 3000lbs, 427ci, aerodynamics, steep gear box, equeals a street bruiser

Guys forget automach has a bucket and racestars (and who knows what other weight reduction mods) which in itself is like 200+ lbs of weight reduction. Thats the only reason why he says his car runs different then the rest. Oh and he also steals the hit.

760whp gt500 a 143 car? Highly doubt that without a lot of weight reduction and amazing da. That or they just suck nuts from rolls cuz they never run like 140+ cars
