Im far from a kid. And I too could have purchased a zr1 or z06 had I want a two seat car. And I would have been the one buying it for myself...... not my wife buying it for me.

myself I had an old Ford Mustang (94 GT 5.0 stock) thing is from what you said I (me personally) can go out and get a C6Z and run a 10.9? If i tried hard enough? I would beg to differ considering I'm probably not even half as good on the drag strip than most regular Jo's that are on this site. The guy who ran that 10.9 probably goes every chance he can and it probably took him a long time to get there. Not discrediting the Famous Z but not every one can run like that. I do believe from factory they are faster then the 13 gt500 just because they have better tires, less weight, better aerodynamics, better gearing etc.... but the average Joe isn't gonna be able to do it. Hell with my upgrades im sure a damn good driver could get 11's no problem but me nope id be happy with low 12's or even mid 12's at most.

Thats a good point because you can buy an 07 Lambo Murcelago for like 80K but at the same time you can get a good used C6Z for like 40K so the savings of 40K is still plenty to build and justify buying a C6Z IMO that is.

If you want one in the condition mine is in, low mileage and all you better come with closer to 90 grand! LOL 70k would get you laughed at. No, the car was purchased used, the CGM '12 we had before this was bought used also but with only 1100 miles.

Yes it does lol, hell when I bought the camaro I couodve got a good used c5z instead but I need more than 2 seats, cops don't take kindly to car seats strapped to the roof lol
