I wasn't backtracking as you called it, I just realized that when I posted my initial response, I was still in awe of how some people raced from a roll, and that maybe they didn't realize the consequences that could occur from it. I could have easily continued to be an *******, just ask Tim!!
That's why I went back and aplologized, I jumped the gun is all. Lemme rephrase was I should have said, I would advise against that method. 
What's this "STF" I keep seeing in everyone's sig, you guys think you know how to talk real **** or something?? :p

This thread was all about contributing positively, why flame? Milla doesn't have any experience with an LS1 powered car, and he contributed positively.
With that said.... It's obvious that using this method is going to beat the bag out of your Camaro. If you want to use it to win this race, go for it. It will help, but I wouldn't use the both feet to the floor method, then release!
That's nuts, that dude is gonna sieze the **** out of everything in the drivetrain and spin violently out of control at 70mph. I can tell you that it's going to suck as well.
Rev match, and dump if that's what your going to do.
I'm still in full agreement with Unbelievable though
