Default LS S10 Vs Built 502 "454"ss

S10: Full bolton LS1 Carb conversion. Built 700r4 fti 3200 stall, 3.90 gears spool c clip eliminators traction bar. caged on m/t streets 11.5in. unknown hp "waiting to dyno tune on nitrous"

"502"ss: full bolt on cammed 600hp. didnt get to the rest of his parts:

40 roll: ss gets the hit since the S10 has no horn. S10 Pulls 4 cars
Dig 1: ss gets the hit again S10 pulls 3-4 cars
Dig 2: (try to use the stall on launch) S10 spins, not shitting you layed down 75 yards of rubber. SS get me by 3-4 cars.

S10 will soon be on a 125 shot

Without videos I don't believe you. Just messing; sounds like a strong S10. How big a cam and what heads?

Ive got 1 video of the roll race but the chase car was a Ranger...... needless to say you just see lights a 1/8th mile off in the distance. The motor is a 2007 crate LS1 what ever heads came on it i never even looked honestly. z06 cam nothing crazy. It was a budget build with what ever i had.

Nice...no pictures? Vid? I can't imagine how well my car would move if I was under 3000lbs.

Nice run. I ran a 454SS truck that had a 502 crate motor when my TBSS was cam only. I was able to get out a few lengths on him as well.

Brother I am right there with ya. I'm one Friday night away from the same deal. It's the second time… which is why I decided to crank up the rebuild.

I don't want the cage…

So, I'm thinking about just taking it to the track's limit and setting her up with a sandbag tune. THEN, when the heat is on… downloading the runner.

But it is cool when they come and tell ya to 'see the starter…'.
