I think it had a lot to do with GM not wanting the customers to know that the Camaro and TA's had just as much power as the Corvette.

I would say that the 5.0>6.0

But I know that it would upset most of y'all

Anyway, it was a good looking GTO IMO, all the ones I usually see, look more like Civics with black plasti dipped wheel.

Geeeez. lol This Goat obviously doesn't have the best setup going for it. Wheels looked pretty damn heavy too. I'd like to know the details.

My boy, showing his knowledge again he owns a "not stock" T/A, aka bolt ons. I'm a shitbum, too, since I work on my own car

******* for real, Whiplash? Are you dumber than you were when you made your tech threads or are you just trying to look ignorant?

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you responded to me...still don't understand it yet, do you?

Go back to posting about double, and maybe even triple drivetrain loss. Tell the GTO guys to unhook their 2nd & 3rd drivetrains.

I would think that IRS sucks up a little more power then a 10 bolt but who knows.

Oh, it does, but this guy said double. As in most is around 15% for manuals and ~18% for autos, he implied double that number...

Looks about right to me. A 119-120mph 5.0 vs a 118mph GTO.

Noticed on the second run that the GTO had a passenger. Did the 5.0 as well? Because it looked as if it was going to be a decent race?
