At the time of the vid I believe it is stock cubes or close to it. The car has been faster. Do some research if you want more info on it.
A good running full bolt on mach will go 113+ but yes most will go ~110.

What reality is that? Tell me how many 9sec h/c n/a ls1 cars have you seen in person? The 2v was in the the 9s years ago as well. The h/c ls record car is just as light and is just as much of a racecar. A lot of compression RG etc... No need to call you a derp as you did to insult me first. I am just stating facts idc what car they own. Just because they had a 2v doesn't mean they knew what to do with it Oh and as far as money is concerned. You are right Texas speeds h/c ls1 record car could be duplicated for cheap

And you got me on the weight, I concede, only 150lbs heavier than the 2V (which impressed me BTW).
This doesn't seem pricey to replicate though:
Texas Speed & Performance shattered the heads/cam stock bottom-end record at the NMCA LSX Shootout at the Memphis Motorsports Park in October 2008.
Mods:
- Precision Race Components 215 Fully CNC Ported Cylinder Heads
- Magic Stick 4 Camshaft
- F.A.S.T. 92mm Ported Intake
- P.T.M. 95mm Throttle Body
- Texas Speed 100mm MAF
- 1 7/8" KOOKS Headers

I went 112 with mild boltons at ~3500lbs in a n/a 4v. Yea let's not forget the weight difference and the fact the heaton is junk A Ford site with a derp mod of course I will get banned. He couldn't handle the truth just like you can't. That's why they got rid of his punk ***

You are a nuthugger if you think it was simple to get a h/c ls to run that number. I am not going to bs anybody about the 2v it takes money, time, and skill to run that number.

03AV8R went like 11.3 @ 117mph NA, but I think he had 96-98 cobra intake cams. And not to mention a serious amount of weight reduction.
I have seen fully build Mach 1's with cams/ported heads do about 120-121mph.
But stop it, a bolt on Mach isn't doing 116-118mph your full of ****.

Show me a 5.4L that does that. Don't even try the Pro Weld engine since they claim "about" 600HP, they don't show a dyno graph, nor do they say if that is installed and to the rear wheels. Also, no one has really tried to do something that silly on the stock cube LS1 because there are better and cheaper options. GM produced better options and updates to the original LS1 design, so naturally the builders would have gone to those options rather than throw money at the old design, just like the new builders will be switching to the coyote engines.
You are also trying to use $20K+ top end racing and specialty engines that are completely not streetable to support your argument. So allow me to rephrase. For the general population looking to upgrade with mass produced bolt ons at a reasonable price for a daily drivable car, the LS1 wins easily.
