even ls3's. at the track (yes i know we're in SRK), i'll get out on the 5.0s in the L99, but they'll come around top end. ls3's are just hard to get out of the hole.
1le ss was at the track last night with headers, and was still getting walked by stock 5.0s (then again the 1LE driver sucked)

A 1LE SS will walk a 5.0, stock for stock, no doubt. They dyno 400rwhp stock and have 3.91 gears. Soooo much Ford butt hurt/ignorance in this thread. But then again, that always seems to be the case...

They are much more of a race then people think. A loaded SS and a loaded GT weigh almost the same and it a drivers race. However base model for base model... the GT is the clear cut faster car. GM doesnt offer anywhere near a stripper model like the base 2011-2012 GT

You DO realize there is no performance difference between the 1LE and SS right? Other than handling? My friends 13' 1LE put down 377rwhp stock.

i believe that 1LE time. the one with headers and CAI was going 12.68 all night which is funny bc that's what our car runs now with cai, tunes, and mufflers lol

My car bone stock, I only made 3 passes. 2 I missed a shift my very first pass I went 12.966 @ 110.90mph. If I drove it alittle more I think I could have got 12.7 or low .8x around 111-111.5mph. Mine is also pretty much the heaviest option minus a glass roof.
