Is that victor JR ported at all? Massaged anywhere? If that thing is literally pulled out of the box and bolted on... there is 75% of your problem. That intake was designed to be ported. I cant tell you how many times ive seen it lose power over Fast intakes. You really have to have a good idea of CFM flow throughout the entire motor to use that intake. Get that car on a dyno and see what its doing.

Wow! I need to get my stock as a Rock Vic Jr ported to my Trickflow 220s then!
Should be well into the 10.30s then with a stock bottom end LQ9..?

Nice passes Cwarta, personally I thinks it's the 243s holding it back... Look for some 1.875" headers too!

Went to LSX Shootout put the 4.30 gears in and 280lbs plus 20 gals of fuel still went 10.80s @ 124mph. Couldn't make it slow down!!

1st pass out, 10.63 @ 125.5mph with 4.56s and 20 gals of fuel...

I'd be willing to bet the house on your tune being screwy.
Can you post any excel sheet data logs, with actual AFR, timing, etc..?

My GTO with just longtubes and a tune ran 12.17 @ 115... there's something up somewhere on your setup.

I'm planning on getting some logs today I didn't save the 2 I took on accident. I got a cel for cam sensor on the way home. Doubtful that causing the problem.

That things really gets to moving! Loving the wrap. I was hopping for ATLEAST a 122 trap, but I suppose being on bias plys at 14# it may have been a 122 trap with radials. Still, I feel it's not right and I believe the heads are to blame.

Yessir, ground around the entire engine. He had 100% of my specs. I know the heads are holding me back, but I'm thinking there might be another issue. The car got slower and slower as the day went on. IAT's were deffinatley thrue the roof.

200IAT is pretty high, I don't see temps that high with a ancient Maggie 112 in summer!

The lane clicker messed up all night, found out that's why my traps were bouncing everywhere.
