die hard gm nutswingers will never be able to admit that the gt500 is a better car than the zl1. everytime i see one im impressed but it doesnt change facts. hopefully the next batch of gen 5 stuff puts them back on top, but who knows. and i dont really care, cause i dont own either car.

ZL1 is disappointment, IMO... but GM focused it more on track racing than on a 1/4 strip in mind.

That's because it's not a better car......the gt500 is not as good as the ZL. What the gt500 does is accelerate faster in a straight line. For all of you that keep thrashing on the ZL.........remember it is faster by ALOT than ANYTHING ford has made until the 13 GT500. For as turdy as you want to believe the ZL is every car ford has made is vastly more turdy.

Yea.....11.2....that's why we have 3~ modded ones on here with blower changes and all that aren't really any faster. Actually 2 of them are not that fast. Not to mention I have not seen a stock get near the 11's on a tire. What I said is 100% true if you go by the mag tests which are the most comparable and repeatable due to the fashion of actually have a test procedure that is equal for both cars.

The 2013 gt500 is faster than the 2013 zl1. Then what is the argument? The zl1 has nicer door panels? More trunk space? Nicer floor mats?

So "better" is only being able to go faster in a straight line????? Really ??? open your eyes man. That's the only thing a 13 gt500 does better. And that is easily fixed. The ZL is faster around turns and stops faster. Both of those are faster. The ZL chassis is much better. That's not to say ford did a bad job with the gt500 chassis, it's just not as good as the ZL's.
