2013 Shelby GT500 vs LS3 RX7

AWD75 Videos, brings another great head to head race of Jericho going against LS3 RX7.0 Both of these cars are amazing and very close performance wise. Even though Jericho is making more power (+190whp) than RX 7.0, little Mazda still have a HUGE weight advantage (1000lbs approx.) which makes this match up, a very close one.

But shouldn't the rx7 make some more power with a H/C 427 stroker?

 

Thats what the owner told me. He will be making more power since he is installing giggle juice to the car

I've heard and seen both these cars. The RX-7 seems to have a mild cam in it for a stroker 427.

 

Good example of how important weight is. That was a pretty big difference in Hp too and the RX7 was still pulling.

 

I've always loved the 3rd gen rx7 swaps.

I would think so, but Op desription said LS3 stroked to a 427. Not a 427 stroker, thats a totally different engine. Both cars move out well, good runs
