This pass is literally letting the clutch out from idle, horrible bog, then climb my way up and out back into its powerband. Totally wasting the first 100ft.

26.5" stiffwall ET Drags (20lbs lighter then my nittos as a pair)
3.73s (to help cross the traps in a stronger part of the power band)
Cobra Carrier (dropped 8lbs over torsen)
BMR Chromoly Panhard (i had an aluminium one, lots of deflection)
Poly upper control arm bushing on the diff side (stock wasnt even complete rubber, insane amount of deflection)

Those adjustments alone, i think she will work in the first 100ft properly. Rear end is SOLID now.
I never doubted your car or said my car was faster. I just want to run you to see what the difference is. The pass I made was far from optimal as well. I think I could pick up a few mph in the 1/8 and 1/4 with practice and little adjustments. Unfortunately the track (NED) closes for the year tonight.

Perhaps we can still run on the street before snow flys?

Im 100% down. I wasnt posting that as a "my cars faster then your car rebuttal" lol. Was just saying they ran a very similar 60 ft where both cars werent able to take advantage of the launch. Both cars should have more in them for sure.

you should have ran at NED last weekend. The DA in the morning was -2000 to -1500 and still at -800 mid day. I had some stuff going on so I couldn't make use of the great weather.

I was planning on it but the rear end issues played there toll. I think i could have gotten the 60s into the 1.7s but its still not 100%. Ill be ready by next month but unfortunately all the tracks are closed. Ill like continue working on the car through the winter and gather parts and let them sit. I really want to get everything out of the longblock setup before i swap intakes and make another 25-30whp. I dont want hp to be a factor in my gains. Just efficiency. Ultimate goal is to have it in the 10s at NED. Not have to go to a hero track and do it. Oh and pump gas

That would be cool. I think it's doable.

Guy down the street has one with full exhaust,tune,373s and a clutch. Anyone 5.0s wanna play?? Outside of Baltimore.

lol wtf? I never said a bolt on coyote would beat a H/C c5z. I actually said the exact opposite.

Calm down boys... It's just the internet

You said you beat a cam only c5z and your numbers didn't make sense. That's why I asked... I said nothing about H/C.

SCalla, your car wouldn't even beat a properly driven stock c5z. So, when a problem comes along, you must ZIP IT, zip it good.

This, I've seen a bonestock 02 Z0 go a 11.8 @ 118. A full bolt-on one should have no problems running bottom 11's or into the 10's depending on how serious the guy is. Record bolt-on ls6 is 10.2 @ 134.

So that means all stock c5z's go 118mph right?

Driven right.....decent track prep and decent air. Why wouldn't they? How much should they really very under the same circumstances? Just say it was a really strong one......say a really weak one would have 20hp less (which would be huge). The really weak one should do 12.0 @ 116 under the same circumstances.
