lol mine was a 76 so it came stock with a 350 olds. after a couple sets of main bearings I dumped a 400 2 barrel in it.

I had an 83 with the 307 "rocket". Flipped the breather and it made cool noisies.... That was about it.

If you had enough people to lift the bumper you could spin the tire. So sad

Save for the hood and airbags and they are very similar. I still have wipers though and the washer tank.......used it this morning to clean the windshield.

We both have modded transmissions, modded rears, wr. Maybe he still has fogs but when I ordered my car I had that choice. Those foglights are worth less. The ones on my truck works good though.
I coulda bought a k-member and been lighter. But I wanted a stronger piece than that. So I did it myself. No clutches were made that I liked when I did the clutch back in 06 or 07......so I made one I liked with mostly used parts that were free.
I don't know what they're saying.......not sure if they do either as much as they go in circles.
This is why I say it has a bolt-on ls6 in it.....because there is more to it than a bolt-on Camaro which most would assume has a ls1.

I didn't ask for a boosted 4.8......I asked for a 4.8 with a Blower cam and 8.5:1 compression and instead of saying "Why would someone do that thats a waste of time" You just posted a video of a boosted 4.8

Bolts hold on blowers. So they are just bolt ons.

I think what he is trying to get at Hio is the Supercharged mod motor is setup for the blower with a cam specced for the blower. You are saying take the blower off and see how it does.

Lawhead was asking you for a comparable GM engine..4.8, with a blower cam and 8.5:1 compression without a blower... asking you how one of the GM examples would run, I am assuming.

I consider my TVS swap a bolton... very simple swap, take bolts out.. set the TVS down on intake.. put bolts back in..... bolt on.

Yes I knew what you were looking for. It wouldn't matter if the 4.6 had 8.5 compression or 11.0. My money is on the 4.8. Essentially the pick up truck engine are not geared toward high performance. So you want to compare fords premier performance engine of that period to a run of the mill base pick up truck engine to try to get the W......and you still can't. Lawhead is asking me to find a blower cammed n/a 4.8 build but is not willing to put his 4.6 to n/a......figures

I tell you what......you take the blower off your car and run it n/a with your blower cams and I'll find a 4.8 put a ls6 cam in it since that's a popular run of the mill cam for them and put it in my car. That's the only way to know.

Who here thinks the 4.8 will do better? I know I do.
