Good runs. So the tranny was giving you issues? Looks like you were neck and neck w/ the M3, and could've pulled w/ another shift.

Need a tick, can't take many high rpm shifts before it tells me to **** off. I was blowing the tires off too so that didn't help, we'll get a rematch soon.

Everytime I've had issues with high rpm shifts it was the stupid pressure plate. Nice runs!

I was just about to say the same exact thing. Most people think they need a Tick, when in reality, that's a bandaid for the bigger problem. I never once had a problem with my stock MC w/ drill mod. I was having the same issues you are KFC when I had my bolt-on car and stock stock worn out clutch setup. Grab a new clutch/pp before spending money on a Tick and still having a problem. Anyways back to the race lol.

Good runs! I knew it was going to be close, I've had a couple encounters with E46 M3's. Did the M3 have a passenger? And rear bumper delete...I guess I'll give him a chance to explain lol. Nice vid.

Haha it might be the pressure plate, I had the same issue in my Trans Am with the same clutch. Gonna go LS7 clutch and Tick soon to remedy all issues.

Yea, very common for F-Body's lol. I went with an LS7 clutch/LS2 flywheel, all new stock hydraulics with drill mod on the MC and it shifted flawless. Took me to 11's with Bolt-On's

At 180k I still have stock master, drill mod, ls7 clutch kit and new GM slave. No issues with 6600rpm shifts so far.

My car in South Carolina went 13.3 @ 104. Obviously it's much quicker than that from a roll but the setup engine wise has not changed. That's another huge thing I was telling KFC, I didn't have a passenger so it would have definitely been more one sided.

The rear bumper was severely damaged on my way to Austin. Had a guy flagging me down to tell me it was hanging off. The rear muffler is a true diffuser type and without it, the rear bumper caught all the airflow. This happened around 75-80 mph.

I was wondering but I mean... we all have our issues on occasion. Part of driving is **** ****** up. It was definitely a good run for as strong as that Z28 seems to run. You have to be trapping better than 104 IMO. I'd say maybe 107, 109ish

And I agree with you. However, slips say 1.9 60', 13.3 @ 104. This was done 3 times in a row. Trap stayed the same.

I'm impressed how well the M3 runs. Giving a modded ls1 a run for its money is always nice to see.

I trap 110-112 and I don't even have headers.... stock y pipe, stock catback. Intake/Gears/Tune/cutout....

Car should have walked that m3, my friends accord v6 6 speed did 13.5 @ 105 mph full bolt ons and it doesn't hang.
