06 GTO, 01 Camaro, 10 GT and 04 MACH 1
Finally had some nice days so a few of us got together for some friendly runs. Mods are listed in the vid. It was a good day and we all had a blast!
The guy with the 2010 GT just decided to stop by because he saw us hanging out so we asked him to join in on the fun.

Thanks man. Two weeks ago I raced the 01 Camaro SS and we were dead even. The Camaro did some exhaust work and a retune last week and it is a totally different car now! Hardest running bolt-on LS1 I ever ran. If you look on run #3 with the Ls2 GTO, he started gaining ground on the top end.

Thanks for doing the vid and posting, MachXLR8. Those were some of the most fun runs I've had in a long time. It was nice to be able to have a direct comparison against your Mach to really see for sure what the tune and exhaust work actually did. Looks like Bryan's shift retuning made a world of difference too....just too bad you didn't get a vid of you versus that F-15 you tried to run from, lol!

That SS runs strong! Amazing what that work did. Day and night.
As for the CTSV...I'll stay away from that next time.

Yea man, tunes work wonders for most GMs, especially F-body LS1s. Amazes me how many guys do a bunch of bolt ons but never tune. And the tune I have isn't even a tweeked dyno tune. I just took my pcm to him and let him make a few off-dyno adjustments. Theres prob a little left in it on a dyno.

Your car runs good, did not expect you to pull the 5.0 like that, nice job. Also did not expect the SS to pull you like that either. Also Were those grand sport stripes on your car?

Good kills and great video!!
Races went down pretty much exactly like the races I did when I was LT/CAI/tune against Mach 1's and bolton fbodies. Too bad there wasn't any digs though so your converter (and that Mach's gears) could really shine. Was a bit surprised that the convertible SS hung right with you though: aren't those a couple hundred pounds heavier then a Z28?
