That R8 tolls out! I wonder why we don't see more R8's w/ UGR and Dallas Racing Conversions?

I think that is why I am drooling over it so much. Rarely ever see anything like that. I know it is on their site, but never see much out of them.

I feel like there are better platforms at that amount of money due to the R8s weight though, but I don't know much.

Regardless, I'll away

Not sure why, but we are starting to see Dallas Performance Lambo's more frequently than gm odder GTR's. Not sure why the R8 isn't used more, it's a cheaper acquisition cost!

Not to mention 1000x better looking than a GT-R

Most guys who twin turbo get the V10. They are still very expensive compared to a GT-R if you compare years. I'm looking at buying one when I get back but used V10's are still over 100 grand. Getting a used R8 V8 vs a used R8 V10 is like the difference between buying a 997.1 and a 997.2 which can be a 30k difference or more used.

Good run though.

In that comparison, the GT-Rs have gotten pretty reasonable with price.

I feel like the R8 is so much more rare, but I don't care to look up actual production numbers.

I prefer the R8 to the Gallardo as well.

And the V10 is a must for a Twin Turbo conversion. I know it's all about the circles you run in, but there are a bunch of TT Gallardo's running around here in the Big D. Apparently, that platform is the best around for putting mega power down w/o blowing the tires off of it.

Me either, but I agree. You don't see as many of them as you do GTR's and Gallardo's.

Good runs and pretty closely matched cars. R8 seemed to have a little more than the GTR.

Few things make me happier than seeing GT-R's lose.

That R8 is so....

Yep, it's just interesting you see 10 Gallardo's for every 1 R8 it seems. And TT conversions, it's probably 15:1.

That R8 is the sex. I once had the pleasure of seeing someone limiter launch a V10 R8. Made my week.
