Oh, look at that....
"This package included a 454-cu.in., 360hp Turbo-Jet V-8 (known as the LS5)"
Only about 340bhp off...
http://www.hemmings.com/mus/stories/..._feature4.html
"The base 454 cid engine was rated at 360 hp (which was also available with cowl induction) and the optional LS6 version at 450 hp."
Getting closer.. but still 250hp off...

Ok. While I will admit that nobody is perfect, there are extremes here... His improper use of "here", and a clearly misplaced "g" are hardly the same thing. I do see your point however. When people bring up that this is a GM biased forum, that's cool as well. What isn't, is spreading false information, simply because of one's need to justify their preference. At least, that **** bothers me, though it might not you. I do apologize for lashing out though, cause it was uncalled for.
The new vette is absolutely **** to me, even the backside. One will reside in my garage as soon as the '14 Acadia is paid off, F'n priorities!
Now, back to the regularly scheduled programming.
I think the 03-04 Termi's were a gift from Ford to its faithful followers. They were underrated on purpose because of the gross over-rating of the previous gen cobra (which looks better to me, for some reason I like the SN 95's), as an added bonus they easily outperformed LS1's in equal tests and you get that evil supercharger whine to boot! The new coyote raised the bar again and did it without needing to be boosted, 40ish hp increase over the Terminator.
I am really just glad that our generation is in the middle of another horsepower war, all of us get to reap the benefits, let the manufacturers keep duking it out.
