I got curious so I tried to look it up, in 09 ford produced there 10 millionth mod motor, in 11' Chevy produced there 100 millionth sbc. Now obviously there including the LS motor in there , so those numbers are high by however many LS motors have been produced. That's a lot of damn engines.

Lol ok wow it took them 10 ******* years to do that in which there wasn't many of them cobra r made only what like 3000 of them. Not saying gm built more zr1s but i am saying which you can't ******* understand for some odd reason is if gm had an engine with that kinda power then ford could too, but they didn't till 10 years later oh and in 93 the 405hp zr1 ford still didn't have an answer na for the til 2011 lol so that's 18 years of ford playing catch up btw

It's not even close to being the same thing. The motors in the Shelbys are Ford made and engineered, SVT to be specific. Shelby's name is on it (Hello, Marketing!), but the engine is engineered and hand built by SVT.
