Nice work OP! I didn't know anyone ran canned tunes on a 5.0.

 

I would hope its a custom tune on the 5.0. But vid says sct tune? Ive tried there tunes and they are weak not much better than a stock tune.

 

He's got the new 4.0 Sct or whatever it is, don't know if that's any better than the old ones or not but the car runs pretty strong for what it is.

5th Gen needs a tune bad, on a couple of the shifts it's almost like it lags, the first time it happened I thought I broke the car but he says that's how it is.

I have to agree with this. Blown 347 would be detuned to ~500whp to keep the block in one piece. 500 whp in a light *** Fox? Come on. Camaro pulled him no doubt but I would be curious to know the Mustang's setup.

 

Were you watching the same video I was? Fox pulled the Camaro both races.

 

After watching again, the second race looked pretty even. The first one, the Mustang pulled him.

 

They say 11 hp on there tune i couldn't fell it when i tried it though. Bama tunes are light years better than any canned tune.

 

Yeah it shoulda tore that *** up. I made 472 with a tfs top end and a vortech on a stock bottom end. The 347 car runs good regardless, but it must not have a lot of timing in her.

Not saying the 5th gen doesn't run good or knocking it. Sounds awesome actually.

 

We'll find out this weekend.. As well as get a post tune rematch as soon as the fox gets something less sketchy than the 20 year old front runners.
