I saw some cool F1 style driving shoes at Nordstrom the other day. I think they were Addidas or Nike. Might get me a pair.
I actually went to the track once with a pair of slip-on shoes. At each shift they kept slipping off!

thinner soles and thinner treads that are flexible will be the best shoe for you to wear while driving. It allows you to get a very good grasp of the pedal and a solid feel. When i where boots or my running shoes, it is tough to feel the pedals. I like cross trainers, or some racingshoes like what Carlos mentioned. Cheap shoes > others when to driving with.

i too thought i was the only one like that. i have an old pair of thin, thin shoes that i hate to race without. i guess its just being able to feel the pedals that does it for me. barefoot is nice too until you step on the hot pavement

I like tennis shoes, Does anyone have a problem with getting their big *** foot stuck. No matter what i am driving I always get my foot stuck on the upper portion or the side by the tunnel for transmission. I don't have huge feet about 12.5 but it makes it damn ridiculous when I am wearing boots.
