Default 07 zo6 vs zr1

Finally got to run a ZR1. Wasn't too impressed . I won 4 outta 4 races. I was so pissed about not having video I went straight out and bought a go pro.

2 roll races from 30. Same results with me out front. Couldn't tell how much but it was more than a length.

The digs were fun. First one I went sideways and had to play catch up. He put about two lengths on me by time I spun through first and slammed 2nd. I came around him by about 100 mph though. Very happy with my cars performance on that one.
The second dig run I left way better and didn't even see him that race. I shut down a little over 130 with a few lengths on him .

My car is milled heads and cam ,stock bottom ,bolt ons and made 572 NA at the wheels on the n20 tune.
Like I said not real impressed with those cars with mild bolt ons.

lol. Calm down there is some more detail for you. The roll runs went from 30-130+ I could see some good space in the mirror but I don't know how many cars I had on him.

Why so disappointed? Your car likely has a bit more power, less weight and is geared better. Strong Z06

Unless it has a tune that stuff really doesn't add power. Stock they make 520-540whp on average and are 3400lbs so what's surprising of a 570whp 3100lb car winning lol.

My ZR1 stock was a good race with 2 H/C Zs making 570-580whp 20-145 then I hit 5th and would get pulled since they can stay in 4th until 160+ depending on tire height/what the limiter is set too. Another H/C Z beat me pretty good tho lol

Just figured they would be a little faster than they are. Just wasn't impressed for the money. And yeah I knew what the outcome should be but I still was a little worried lining up next to him. Lol

Lots of variables. Heat soak, tune pulling timing...who knows. You evidently just have a very stout setup.

No matter what model Corvette, they are nearly the best performing cars for the money in all of production. Your car is just modded well and makes more power. I doen't think it makes the ZR1 any less impressive. Cammed, bolt-on Z06's are just no joke.

Basically an average running H/C Z can be a good run winning within a car or two with a stock ZR1, but a good running H/C Z is not really a good race

Equal powered cars...weight alone would be the deal breaker...let alone how each one is driven.

Sucks you didn't have video...

His car is lightly modded has other said, unless hes not running more boost, hes not gonna gain much, unlike with what you have.

the stock zr1 is a really impressive car but a a milled heads/cam z06 is a massive destruction weapon!!

Good kill

No tune or pulley? I think you would be talking a different tone if he had those mods.
