those 135 and 335s run good when working right, but they are reliability nightmares, limp mode every few pulls almost for alot of them... i have a vid posted of a c6 gs vs a rb 135 between some friends of mine and the 135 went limp lol... the dude in the vette had a 335 that was all sorts of unreliable and that's why he has the vette now

Diet that GTO seems to be laying over like mine used too: do him a favor and unplug his MAF when he isn't looking, then wave your hands like a magic man and tell him to do a WOT pull. If he comes back with a shocked look on his face then he is like 90% of LS2 GTO guys with heads/cam or better engines that are outflowing the OEM maf calibration tables. Have him PM me if it's so, I'll steer him the right way for a fee: he has to remove those godawful stripes.
