SRT hellcat
True but thats a guestament gonna have to wait till the numbers come out but either way it's a better match for the gt500 than the Zl1 is
i think everyones forgetting that viper is now its own division and not actually a dodge anymore. i personally would love to see the same setup in a charger because i still beleive the charger is a sexy car 4 door or not. sad thing is between dodge chevy and ford i would buy a chevy last, and i love my gm's...

Even with the super efficient Diamler tranny, it won't make 650rwhp. That is like 8% drivetrain loss.
I would say more like 625rwhp and 4450lbs, for an 11.2 with a perfect launch and good driver. Expect mid 11's from most people, and getting stomped by C6Zs and GT500s that cost less.
I also can pretty much promise you it wont be ~55-60k like Marc said. A base SRT8 Challenger with manual is already $47k. Blowers are not cheap, and even if they keep everything else exactly the same (which would be a horrible idea when adding that much HP), it should still pass 55k. Dealer markup will also be enormous.

I just can't believe the HP you can buy off the showroom floor these days. Just 15 years ago, 700 HP was a highly specialized setup with little reliability and few and far between on builds. Now you can buy a Challenger with 700+, a Vette with 650, Viper with 640, and the outgoing Shelby with 660.
If you would have told anyone 15 years ago, that this would be the new "norm" for horsepower, they would have spit their beer in your face laughing.
Good times to be a gear head indeed - wonder how long it will last?

600-800whp on stock 5.3/6.0s seems the norm

I hope they make a SRT8 RAM with this motor. Remember the Viper-powered SRT10 Ram? This could be so much cooler. 8-speed auto crew cab, 707hp supercharged V8. Yes please.
Maybe give it a lifted off-road suspension and theme. Directly take on the F150 SVT Raptor and Lingenfelter Silverado Reaper segment.

Also aggravating: Internet forum champions that criticize your car based upon things that only they care about like they pay your ******* bills for you or some ****. Nobody here truly cares about making the absolute fastest car for the absolute minimum dollar they can. Yet trolls will throw this crap up every single day like anybody cares about that argument.
