Default 02 H/C/I stalled SS Vs 15 E63 AMG

Well i had just dropped my daughter off at a birthday party and on the way back i spot 2 guys driving in a Black E63 AMG.Now this is a long strait desolate road leading to an interstate and when i pass him he proceeded to jump behind me going around the car in front of him then he takes off So i wave him back and see if he wants to run.we slow to about 40 i think and i ask him what year is it he told me it was new(Not sure if it was a 2014/2015) so i asked him for a rum on 3.On the 3rd honk we both hit it and i break the tires loose and he bolts out about a car length but when i hook i drove past him fairly easy to about 120 i believe.

He slowed down and was shocked obviously and asked what i had ,i told him just a little with laughter but he was definitely a cool guy.I tried to get him to run 1 more time but he wasn't going for it.It was a 4 door Black 2014/2015 E63 and i know jack **** about those cars but he definitely put up a good fight .....Anyone know anything about these cars and what they run?

2105?!? Good god, can I borrow your time machine?...

JK, good kill. New car, guy likely has little experience driving it. I'm sure it's heavier than your car, and it's on the street where all things are possible. Though honestly, I know nothing about that car.

Those E63s are beasts. 577 hp 590 tq in the 2014. Surprised you pulled on him, but then again it is a heavier sedan.

well the numbers in my sig are from 6-7 years ago and the tuner wasnt very good at tuning to say the least and the car ran like **** for awhile but still pulled very hard.Fast forward to last year on the dyno and the car made 458 unlocked before i snapped a spring and 2 rockers which i thought the springs that came with the TFS 215 heads were rated at .650 lift but thats another story .Got that fixed and added a Ported FAST 102 w/TB and 1 7/8 headers with duals and im waiting to get dyno tuned by someone competent..

The Harlands were non adjustable 1.7 and im pretty sure the yella terras are also

When the springs and rockers were changed the guy said he matched to rockers to my cam so maybe they are adjustable,id have to check that out,it seemed a hell of alot faster after the spring and rocker swap

If they were non adjustable... thats most likely the reason for the spring taking a **** on you. TFS heads have a 13.5* valve angle. They need an adjustable rocker (not just a roller tip) to properly seat the rocker on the valve. Non adjustables might seem like they work for a little while... but will definitely cause premature valve train wear and failure.

Btw... good kill!
