That Cobra is not that slow running a way from a cam / head ported 400ci Bird. Looked pretty strong.

Maybe it had more than lid/catback. We'll never know. Best case scenario for both cars stock puts the cobra over a half second behind, so meh.

Pretty much. But either way, a semi-competent driver in a bolt-on Cobra isn't gonna be ~3 cars behind a lid/catback F-body by the top of 2nd gear.
