Updates: 5oh said he may be getting real tires for Saturday, I can't remove the sway because I don't have the tools at my condo, they're all at my dads place about an hour north of me, and I don't have the time this week to go up there

 

Hard to believe that a 235 is the stock tire size on a newer Mustang GT. You would think that the GT would at least come with a 255 at a minimum and then use the 235 for the V6 and Ecoboost.
Hell, even my MACH came stock with a 245 45 and that was 10 years ago. Is Ford trying to save money or something?

Yep. MPH just says which is the faster car, but drag racing at a track is really all about who gets to the end first.

Nick, if you have time to get to a autozone/lowes, just grab two 13mm wrenchs and un bolt the end links. That will still help with the weight transfer.

Yes we will both have test passes, best out of 3 or until my 10 bolt gives in

 

Ask for e.t. timer display to not be shown during the test passes. Wouldn't want the test passes to pre-determine the likely winner.
