im not exactly defending Ford.
i was correcting an incorrect comment about a platform's potential. the name on the platform isn't important to me.
i was picking on you. you presented an opportunity to make a counteropint.
there ARE few alternatives to make REAL power with a windsor outside of nascar parts, which are cleveland parts.
chi 400's flow 409 cfm.
canted valves. the p-38 utilizes windsor bolt ons.

A mud racer I am friends with made 940hp on a single carb and cast intake quite a few years ago with WAY cheaper heads. If the class would have allowed a sheet metal intake it would have made 1k+
