Ls1 Formula vs NSX
Ok it's a nice day in a long time so I take the formula for a drive, on the highway going at about 60 this beautiful NSX pulls next to me...idk about the year since I don't have too much knowledge about them other than that they were in the same class as vettes and such.
so we go for a friendly run at about 60 im auto with just a catback and him no idea but we go to about 115 and I had him for about a car length im not gaining and he's not moving from my rear bumper.
So can anyone with knowledge about these cars tell me was he just messing with me? If he wasn't than the victory was short lived after a gt500 put about a bus length on us after the race. Always bigger fishing there lol.

I don't want anyone thinking I'm trashing them because I'm sure they are awesome cars and look cool and exoctic. And I see they are coming out with the new one but I'm sure the vette will eat that too!

What I don't understand is how it's in the same class as the z06 and loses on the course and drag and from what I can see even gets worse gas mileage, how the hell is the price justified? Is it for guys that just want something different even tho it gets blown away by cars in its class?

It was Japan's first serious mid-engined supercar. In 1990 it was amazing, but they haven't really changed it at all in the 15+ years it was in production so by today's standards it's OK. You're paying more for the nostalgia and looks rather than the performance at this point.

NSX came out in 1991, so think about that time frame when judging performance (C4). Not much changed in the later years.
Not worth the price but people are willing to pay obviously.
